Maintain Your Raw Hair Extensions
Wash with intention
Always use sulfate-free shampoo and lukewarm water when cleansing your raw hair. Apply product in a downward motion to prevent tangling and maintain the natural cuticle alignment. Follow with a hydrating conditioner to restore softness and shine.
Deep Condition Regularly
Treat your extensions to a deep conditioning mask every two to three weeks. This keeps the strands hydrated, manageable, and soft to the touch. For added nourishment, let the conditioner sit under a plastic cap for 20–30 minutes before rinsing.
Limit Heat
While raw hair can handle heat styling, frequent use can dry the strands over time. Always apply a heat protectant before using flat irons or curling wands, and opt for air drying whenever possible. Your hair will thank you with lasting body and movement.
Preserve your investment.
When not in use, store your wigs or bundles in a silk or satin bag to prevent friction and frizz. Make sure the hair is completely dry before storing to avoid odor or mildew. Proper storage keeps your units looking fresh between installs.
